A sad, sad day

I am an accountant.  I took the classes, I have the diploma to prove it.  This is what I do at my job.  BUT...I have discovered a horrible truth: I cannot do math.  As part of the "fun" at work, I was presented with this challenge:
  • There are 7 girls in a bus.
  • Each girl has 7 backpacks.
  • In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.
  • For every big cat, there are 7 little cats.
  • Question: How many legs are there in the bus?
I got as far as 7 x 7 = 49 before I had to bust out the calculator.  I can no longer do simple multiplication in my head.  Give me 2's, 5's, 10's, I'm good.  Start asking me about 3's and 8's and 7's and I am going to need to cheat.  I think this was a question from "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?".  I haven't ever seen the show, and if it's going to make me feel this dumb, I never will.  I just want to say that I'm sorry to everyone for letting you down.  I think I'm going to join the circus now.  I hear FSU's is good, and I think I missed my calling as a trapeze artist.  Or maybe a tiger trainer.  Or something.

Well, what's the answer? I purposely took classes in college that required as little math as humanly possible. That's why I have a degree in Elementary Education. Once you get past the basic long division, it's on to the middle school teachers' responsibilities. I'm done-zo.

Also, my word verification that I have to type is phumk. I thought that was funny.
